About this course:
Join Vicky and Sarah for a hands-on, seasonal cookery workshop celebrating the vibrant spring flavours of wild garlic.
Cooking in Sarah’s fantastic open-plan, hempcrete kitchen-dining room (as featured on Grand Designs) with magnificent meadow views, this three-hour experience will begin with a short introduction to identifying wild garlic and foraging safely and responsibly. This will be followed by a practical cookery session in which you will prepare a selection of Mediterranean-inspired dishes using this abundant spring plant. We will then plate everything and share a relaxed, communal lunch, followed by a lemon olive oil cake & tea/coffee.
Together we will make:
*Wild Garlic & Ricotta Crostini
*Wild Garlic Flatbreads
*Wild Garlic & Nettle Soup
*Pesto (to stir through pasta, plus a jar to take home)
*Herby Fritters with Yoghurt Dip
*Tabbouleh Salad
